Pastry Cooking workshops These cookings classes are realized in partnership with Lovely Daze Macarons, a Miami-based culinary institute specialized on these French delicacies. Two crispy-shelled almond cookies hugging a decadent layer of chocolate ganache, in a variety of flavors and colors ranging from the classic to the exotic and rare. Come visit their kitchen to learn all the tricks of French desserts. Two classes will be given: one around the theme of Valentine's day and the other one about the all-star macaron. Angela Garcia's fine dessert creations are a product of her training in French confectionery artistry, which she mastered during her training at "l'Ecole Supérieure des Arts Culinaires de Paul Bocuse" à Lyon, the French capital of gastronomy. Having graduated with the Grand Diplome (Major de Promotion), Angela further cultivated her technique under the direction of such celebrated chefs as Alain Ducasse in New York, Pascal Barbot in Paris, Christophe Canati in Saint Emilion and many more. She will lead the cooking classes and share her secrets with the participants. Led in French but English and Spanish are also spoken. |
