The cultural fund enables the Alliance to welcome leading artists to South Florida and cover professional expenses, housing and travel, while keeping performances affordable for members and the general public.
It also allows us to:
- Maintain high-quality programming for film festivals and screenings that showcase recent Francophone films;
- Invite high-profile leaders for lectures and discussions;
- Promote French heritage through events such as Bastille Day, Fête de la Musique, Beaujolais Nouveau;
- Organize art exhibitions and music events.
Support Education
The educational fund enables the Alliance to maintain excellence in teaching French language for adults and children and to expand the Alliance Française of Miami library.
It allows us :
- To have highly qualified teachers trained in the most up-to-date techniques of teaching French, at costs accessible for all.
- To provide an optimal working environment in which teachers thrive and students improve their language skills
-To buy new books, DVDs, CDs, magazine subscriptions
