Jean Ferrat l'homme, le poète, le compositeur, l'interprète
Né Jean Tenenbaum le 26 décembre 1930 à Vaucresson (Hauts-de-Seine) et mort le 13 mars 2010 à Aubenas en Ardèche, Jean Ferrat est un parolier, musicien, compositeur et chanteur français.
À la fois chanteur engagé et poète, auteur de chansons à textes, il est aussi compositeur, et met notamment en musique de nombreux poèmes de Louis Aragon. Jean Ferrat est voisin des idées communistes et est à ce titre toute sa vie proche du Parti communiste français. Cependant, ce fut un compagnon de route critique, particulièrement vis-à-vis des positions du parti sur l'URSS. Bien que peu présent dans les médias et malgré un retrait de la scène à quarante-deux ans, il connaît un grand succès aussi bien critique que commercial, fondé tant sur la qualité de ses compositions (textes et mélodies) et de sa signature vocale, que sur ses prises de position politiques

Urban development challenges history and architecture, wether young city like Miami Beach or ancient city like Paris cities could sometimes faces the same issues about the preservation of some of their most interesting neighborhood.
In Miami Beach Barbara Baer Capitman and in Paris Andre Malraux had the figthing spirits to stand for and preserve a priceless historic architectural legacy for generation to come.

Veronika Pozmentier, born and raised in Paris, France has been a resident of Miami Beach since 1998, she earns her Doctorate in Law at Pantheon-Assas University of Law and her Master in Journalism from Pantheon-Sorbonne Institut Francais de Presse while learning Art and Art History at Ecole du Louvre.
Passionate about art, photography and writing, Veronika Pozmentier always continued her education in art by obtaining Diplomas in Photography from Institut Superieur des Arts-IESA and attending seminars at Ecole du Musee du Jeu de Paume or Christie’s Education while consulting for French Art galleries on special projects, she is also consulting for international art collectors and art galleries especially during Miami Beach Art Basel.

Rencontre/Lecture with Jean-Christophe Valtat, writer

Born in 1968, Jean-Christophe Valtat is a French writer and teacher.
Educated in the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, he is currently Assistant Professor in Comparative Literature in the Blaise Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand. His field of research includes romantic, modern and contemporary literature and the relationships between Literature, science, technology and the media.

He is the author of a book of short stories, Album (Léo Scheer, 2003) and two novels for Gallimard: Exes (1997) and 03, (2005), which was published in the USA by Farrar Strauss & Giroux, in June 2010.

His first novel written directly in English, Aurorarama, was published by Melville Publishing House in August 2010.
