Fencing has existed for thousands of years in many forms and many cultures.

In 1573 The French fencing master Henry de St. Didier publishes the first French fencing treatise, advocating the use of an Epée without a dagger and beginning classification of many attacks and parries.
Fencing has always been regarded as more than a sport; it is an art form, an ancient symbol of power and glory, and a deeply personal, individual form of expression.
Today Alliance Francaise of Miami and The Miami Fencing Club offer students the unique experience of the sport of fencing. Come and learn the lessons of speed, cunning and honor.

The classes are schedule on WEDNESDAY
Minimum age is 8 years, no exceptions

Beginners : 6-30 pm – 8.00pm
The equipment is provided by the Miami Fencing Club.

Intermediate/Advanced : 7.30pm – 9pm
Students will need to bring their own equipment.

Price: $80 per person per month + $30 registration fees
