Born in Frankfurt in the airport... mother Italian...father French... Grandmother Russian, Andre de Plessel studied art and photography at the University of Art of Frankfurt. Worked for advertising companies. Also studied at the Miro-Shool of Arts in Barcelona

For almost 25 years Andre De Plessel, part French, part Russian, part Italian, born in Germany (at the Frankfurt Airport!), has been creating images for brand names such as Vogue, Nike, Coca Cola, Harpers Bazaar and many more. His passion for photography brought him to live in Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Los Angeles, Paris, New York and now Miami.

Following the release of a controversial calendar "I Smoke: the spirit of smoking" showcasing women smoking in a sexy modern film noir like atmosphere in black and white, Andre De Plessel will present here the best of his black and white photo shoots. The collection reflects the beauty and attitude that Plessel was able to extract from the models.
